6 Month Milestone Session with Emmie in the Studio

Ohhhh baby girl Emmie, I’m so excited to be sharing your 6 month milestone session on the blog today. Would y’all check out these chunky, juicy arm rolls!? I am obsessed with them! If you love showing off your baby’s arm rolls, rompers are an excellent wardrobe choice for milestones. I loved getting to dress her up in my baskets and with adorably huge headband bows, and use some of my favorite props available in my studio.

Emmie came in to hang out with me in the studio for her 6 month milestone session and she has grown into the cutest little baby girl in the world. I had a little bit of a tough time getting her to smile at first, truth be told. Once she warmed up to me, though? Oh my goodness. She broke into the sweetest little toothless smile I have ever seen. I can not wait to see her again in six months for her first birthday photos, hopefully by then she’ll have little teeth to show off. Her momma was so excited to see the magic we captured!

This session reminded me to let y’all know just how important it is to pre-schedule these types of sessions out with me. I strongly recommend that families contact me at least 6 weeks in advance to book their milestones session, to make sure I can fit your family in on my calendar.

These six month milestone sessions are often skipped by families because they don’t realize how important they are. But, it’s such a prime time to do them. Babies are usually sitting unassisted at this time, but not crawling or walking yet. This brief moment in your baby’s life goes by so quickly!
