Newborn Session | The Staffel Family

The older my boys get the more excited I get to hold little humans in my hands. I enjoyed this newborn session so much. Ethan was such a little sweetie pie. He was so easy. I don’t think he cried once the entire time I was there. Jeanelle and Mike had the perfect set up for photos that day. They were going for “light and bright” and I think we did a great job at accomplishing that.

Without any tears and no need for a feeding I was only there an hour and was able to capture all these precious shots. I really like using the master bedroom when taking photos. It provides such a great way for the family to snuggle together with their new little addition to the family.

I also just adored the color scheme that was used. I don’t know why but suddenly I am obsessed with the color blue. You can’t go wrong using it. Jeanelle’s light blue top flattered her new mommy shape so well. I always tell my new moms to just wear something comfortable for their photos. Wear something that makes them feel great – because it will make the session that much better. Jeanelle’s top and pants are from her online boutique known as If you haven’t checked it out yet you should totally do it! I photograph her clothing line for her so I know first hand how stinking cute everything is that she carries online. For now, just take a peak at her beautiful family 🙂
