BOOKING Your River Mini Session
To book your session, please click on the calendar below. Choose which date and time works best for you. You will be emailed a quote along with studio policies. 50% of session cost is due at time of booking. Once your invoice is paid and policies signed, you will receive a booking confirmation and be ready to go!

DETAILS
What To Expect:
Your photo session will be 30 minutes long – don’t worry. That is more than enough time for me to capture the essence of your family and the love you share. With that 30 minutes I will be able to create a beautiful gallery of at least 30 images for you to choose from!
This type of photo shoot is ideal for maternity sessions, milestones or family sessions. I wouldn’t recommend this type of photo session for children under the age of one. I think they would be super duper distracted by the river. If you are wanting to do a photo session and have babies under the age of one, then I highly suggest doing a studio family session or another one of my outdoor minis that I will be offering this fall.
What To Wear:
I suggest choosing outfits with lighter color tones. Neutrals look great as well, but I encourage you to steer clear of dark tones. The river provides a dark backdrop for photos and if you wear black or dark colored clothing, you can blend into the background.
Shoes: Wear something comfy – it’s about a 10 minute walk out to the river on dirt trails. Once you arrive at the river, we will slip those shoes off and go barefoot in the cool river water!
My single best piece of advice is for you, Mom! Find an outfit for yourself first! Treat yourself. After all, you are going to the effort to plan this whole photo session and you deserve a treat. Once your outfit is chosen – build off of that for everyone else’s outfits 😉

After The Session:
I will send you an invoice for the other 50% of session balance. 48 hours after your session you can expect to see your sneak peeks on my FB or IG page. You will receive your gallery in 7-10 business days. When you receive your gallery, you can download your images straight to your device as well as order professional prints and products that will be delivered to your home. Easy Peasy!
HEALTH AND SAFETY

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you must cancel your session due to illness or other personal emergency, please do your best to provide the studio with 24 hours notice so that your session time can be made available to other clients. Failure to provide adequate notice of a cancellation will result in the forfeiture of your session retainer, and another session retainer payment will be required to hold your new date.
If adequate time is given when cancelling your session, you may use your session retainer money as a credit for a future photo session with Samantha Sloan Photography. No refunds will be given.
