The New And Improved Samantha Sloan Photography Studio

Ok, I’m going to be completely honest here. I am a perfectionist through and through. Being a perfectionist is like having a super power. I will put my best for forward and make sure everything is is juuuuuust right. This can be a great thing! OR – it can be my biggest downfall – BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO FAIL!

I have learned through the years that perfectionists have a dark side. I’m talking about procrastination. We do this to protect ourselves. We do this so that we can say “Well, I waited till the last minute and didn’t *really* try me hardest so its not that big of a deal if I fail.”

Well, I don’t know if its because I’m getting (a little 😉 ) older or if its because I want to be an example for my boys OR if I want to be able to look back and KNOW that I GAVE IT MY ALL, but I am threw playing those games and I’m ready to full steam ahead!!

So this brings me to my point (finally) – THE NEW SAMANTHA SLOAN PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO!!

I’m not gonna lie, I poured my heart and soul into this studio. I worked hard and dreamed up the biggest dream I could and now I am going after it! In a lot of ways I already feel like I am successful because I conquered some big BIG doubts in my mind to even get to this point.

Everything you see in these photos and what you experience when you walk in the studio has been thoughtfully designed and curated to give you an amazing experience. Like when I step into the store Anthropolgie. When I am there, nothing else in the world matters because everything is so beautiful, smells amazing, and makes me feel like I’m “home” and thats how I want you to feel too when you step into my studio – At Home <3

So what can you expect when you have a studio session?? Well, first and foremost – AIR CONDITIONING! lol These Texas summers are starting to take a toll on me! I’m pretty sure I was meant to live in a Southern California Climate 😉 Besides being able to take photos and not worry about all your makeup melting off, I also have a changing room if you decide to make any changes to your wardrobe. The changing room is great for my maternity clients as they often tend to change into several outfits during their sesh. Plus there is a changing table for little ones!

When it comes time for me to snap photos of the kids, you can sit down and relax with a drink or snack in hand. I have everything needed to make a yummy cup of coffee or you can grab a cold beverage from the fridge.

I am so excited to share this with you! I now offer a growing collection of children clothing that can be worn during your photo session AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! I offer sized Newborn – 4T. Most clothing is sized for babies at 12 months and younger for my Baby’s First Birthday session and Baby’s First Year clients. I have over 25 outfits to choose from and I offer both boy, and gender neutral options!
