The Historic Pearl Brewery | The Tippie Family

When Kelly called me and wanted me to take thier family photos again this year I was absolutely delighted! The year before we had done their photos at a park but this year she said that they wanted to do them at The Historic Pearl Brewery in downtown San Antonio. I get super excited whenever anyone want to take thier portraits at The Pearl because there are so many fun places and the lighting is to die for. The Tippies totally lucked out with some great weather too. It was seriously like one of the four days of cool air we had in San Antonio this past October.

When they arrived to the shoot I couldn’t wait to get started! They all looked so awesome and are so stinkin’ photogenic that it made things go incredibly smooth. This year was the color of blue… nearly all my client chose to style their sessions with a blue color scheme and thankfully it looks amazing with all The Pearl architecture.

These two were so fun to shoot. They were natural little giggle monsters and were always doing something fun for me. They reminded me a lot of my brother and I when we were younger. There is a fine line of love and wanting to drive the other one crazy 😉 This shot was taken at the train at the Pearl Brewery.
